The story of our label

THE DESIGNER

It has long been Anne-Kristin Schollenberger's dream to be a designer and organize a show at New York Fashion Week. Bags and shoes have always been her passion. Later came the love for hats and the combination of these three parts. And then there was a long-cherished dream of her own label, which should finally be founded, but without animals having to give up your life for it.

For a long time this dream lived only in her. When in 2019 the idea came to make a vegan label out of it and to do something for this world, this vision just had to be brought to life.
And so was born the label Anne Schollenberger.

Designs were drawn, contacts activated, financial resources acquired and then the most beautiful vegan materials were sought.
Beautiful materials and enthusiastic manufactures in Portugal brought to life the designed bags, shoes and hats of Anne Schollenberger.

SUSTAINABLE FOR HUMANS, ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Animal leather is not only problematic for ethical reasons, but also has an immense negative impact on our environment. The manufacturing process consumes enormous amounts of water and produces harmful waste materials. In particular, the complicated tanning process generates chemically polluted waste.

The handbags, shoes and hats are made from vegan cactus leather - one of the most sustainable alternatives to animal leather. It is a soft, adaptable and breathable material. The production of cactus leather saves 164,650% water and 1,864.02% greenhouse gas emissions compared to animal leather.

We use vegan materials made from renewable resources, thus protecting our environment and avoiding animal suffering. From each product sold a portion to animal welfare organizations.
