What is the philosophy of "Anne Schollenberger"?

We at Anne Schollenberger are driven by one thing first: We want to show that high-quality fashion accessories also work in vegan, and that vegan fashion accessories can also be high-quality.

Why is this so important to us? Because, on the one hand, we are extreme animal lovers and don't want animals to die or suffer for our handbags, shoes and hats. And because, on the other hand, we know how harmful the production of animal leather is for our environment.

What is the charity all about?

We not only want to contribute to animal welfare by not using animal leather, we also want to help animals that cannot help themselves or are even threatened with extinction.

Therefore, 4% of every product sold goes to the organization "Promis für Tiere".

We deliver to all countries worldwide. We ship free of charge within Germany.

What are the shipping costs and how long does shipping take?

We offer the following climate-neutral shipping methods. You can find the delivery times depending on your country in the following list. The processing time for orders is 1-2 working days.

The above delivery time is calculated based on contracts with our shipping partners and may be delayed due to customs clearance. Anne Schollenberger is not responsible for shipments that may be affected by customs, acts of nature, transfers to the local carrier in your country, or air and ground transportation strikes or delays.

How are the products shipped?

All our products are packed in sustainably produced magnetic boxes and shipped in recycled cardboard boxes. Our products come with a dust bag made from the inner lining of the accessories, which can be used to protect your bag, shoes or hat.

Can I return the products?

We want you to love our products as much as we do! If you are not satisfied with our product, you can return it within 14 days of receiving your order. All items must be in their original packaging. Anne Schollenberger will cover the return shipping costs for Germany. We recommend sending your return with a carrier that offers tracking services. Once the return has been received and quality checked, you will receive a full refund for the items.

Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package for defective, damaged or incorrectly shipped items. Any item deemed defective or damaged can only be exchanged for the same item. Please keep your items with you until you are informed by us on how to proceed.

How do I get a refund?

We will send you a refund within 10 working days of receiving the returned product. The refund will be made in the form of the original payment method used to purchase the product.


Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept almost all major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Paypal and purchase on account via Klarna. Please note that if you pay with Klarna, the invoice will be sent separately by Klarna.

Will I also receive an invoice?

When we hand over the order to the shipping company, you will receive an e-mail containing your tracking number and an invoice.

What material are the products made of?

The main component of our first vegan collection is vegan cactus leather - one of the most sustainable alternatives to animal leather.

Cactus leather is a soft, elastic, adaptable and breathable material. Less water is used in the production of cactus leather than in the production of animal leather. The cactus leather saves 1,864.02% greenhouse gas emissions compared to animal leather and 164,650% water compared to animal leather.

The Snake material is a blend of recycled cotton, acrylic and polyester fibers made from post-consumer fibers and upcycled ocean plastic, which helps to rid our oceans of far too much waste.

Why are the products not made of leather?

Because leather production is extremely harmful to our environment and animals have to suffer or die for it.

Cattle farming, which is an important source of leather, contributes to environmental impacts such as deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions and high water consumption. We cannot ethically justify the factory farming and slaughter of animals for their skin. The animals are often kept in cruel conditions.
Tanning, the process that transforms rawhide into leather, often uses chemicals such as chromium, which are harmful to the environment and health.
Leather production requires considerable amounts of water, both for animal husbandry and for the tanning process. In regions with water shortages, this can lead to considerable problems.
The processing of animal leather requires energy, whether for animal husbandry, transportation or tanning. Livestock farming is a major contributor to the release of methane, a greenhouse gas with a significant contribution to climate change. Methane has a significantly higher greenhouse effect than CO2.

How does the cactus leather feel?

Cactus leather basically feels and looks like animal leather. Only without the many disadvantages for animals and the environment.


What sizes are the shoes available in?

Our shoes are always available in sizes 37-41.

What size hats are available?

Our hats are available in sizes 56 to 58.

How do I find out my hat size?

You measure your hat size by placing a measuring tape in the middle of the back of your head in front of a mirror and moving it about 1 cm above your ears to the front of your forehead. The circumference in centimetres is your hat size.

How do I care for the products?

Clean our products regularly with a soft cloth, clean cloth moistened with water.
